The Australian Death Notification Service (ADNS) is an initiative of the Australian government to assist individuals to notify multiple organisations online that someone has died. This is a collaboration of Births, Deaths and Marriages registries across Australian. With a single online access, multiple organisations including banks, super funds, insurers, utilities (eg water, internet) can be advised that someone has died, and the process of their affaires can be commenced.
A registered death certificate is required to begin the notification process.
